General Description:
The Upper Valley Career Center Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technology Program prepares individuals for successful entry-level maintenance positions. If you or someone you know is facing the possibility of a layoff of job loss, take heart. Classes are forming now to help meet your needs. The Department of Labor confirms what we already knew; jobs are available for qualified technicians.
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician option is PELL Grant Eligible. Individual topical modules may be taken separate from the Career Development Program.
Participation Options
It may be possible to slot into an individual class module or topic to advance skills in just that area. This is a great option for companies hoping to advance the credentials of an existing work force or for individuals who require specific updates to enhance their current skills.
Dates
Classes operate according to "Start" dates. Open enrollment participation is an option from all operating "starts". Please call Richard Haney for more information.

A common thread for all Manufacturers’ is the need for the equipment to produce a product. This local region boasts a large concentration of Machine Building businesses. These machines are being built everyday, all around us. Automated Machine Builders, both Mechanical and Electrical, are building and installing machines and modifications, and even maintaining those same machines, on-site, for their customers. And all of that building means Electrical, Mechanical, and Fluid Power components are being sold and delivered every day…If you would like to be in Industrial Sales, you will need to be able to identify parts described in the most vague of terms, understand how they work, and where they are applied, to help the customer, so GET BUSY!
*Entry–Level wages for these positions begin at $15 to $17 per hour up to $28 to $30 per hour ($30,000 to $80,000 annually), with most positions offering some overtime.
