Upper Valley Career Center Announces Schedule Pick Up Dates

 

PIQUA:  Thursday, August 18, will be the first of two Schedule Pick-Up Days for high school students who plan to attend Upper Valley Career Center this fall. 

 

According to Recruitment Coordinator Andrew Snyder, Upper Valley Career Center counselors, secretaries, instructors, and supervisors will be on duty in the front lobby for eight hours, from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on August 18, and from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. during the second Schedule Pick-Up Day on Tuesday, August 23. Students and parents are asked to use the front parking lot and main entrance doors when picking up schedules.

 

Snyder said, “Students and/or parents may get schedules and other first-day-of-school information on either of the two Schedule Pick-Up Days.  Several career technical instructors will be on hand to provide students with additional program related material.”

 

Snyder also indicated that fees should be paid on or before the first day of school Wednesday, August 31.  Fees vary according to career/technical program. 

 

In addition to their schedules, students will also receive the school year calendar plus information about uniforms, early placement, and student driver registration.  Tool kit information will be available.  .

 

Students who want to enroll or make a schedule change should plan to attend one of the two Schedule Pick-Up Days.  Any student or parent with questions is asked to contact Snyder at the Career Center at 937.778.1980.
