INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SEMINAR OFFERED AT UPPER VALLEY JVS

 

 Upper Valley JVS, in conjunction with the Sidney-Shelby County Chamber of Commerc Business & Education Partnership, will be hosting an International Business Seminar—An Educator in Industry Event—on Thursday, June 9 from 8:00-11:30 a.m. at the school’s Applied Technology Center, 8901 Looney Road, Piqua.

This seminar will highlight the latest information relative to conducting business on an international level.  The morning’s speakers will include the following presenters:

  • Bill Murphy, Executive Director of Grow Piqua
  • J.C. Wallace, President and CEO of the Troy Chamber of Commerce and the Troy Development Council
  • Debbie Dirr, Cincinnati Export Assistance
  • Mike Dodds, Executive Director Western Ohio Development
  • Emily Tucker, Global Trade Development Manager, Ohio Department of Development

The event is free and open to the public.  No pre-registration is required. Businesses currently engaging in international business or considering such a venture, may want to consider sending a company representative to the seminar.
