Why We Are Here

STUDENTS OF THE QUARTER

Sidney High School senior Adrian Helton and Fairlawn High School junior Paxton Edwards were named the Upper Valley JVS Students of the Quarter for the fourth nine-week grading period.
According to JVS Director of Student Services, Randy Smith, Helton is a Computer Assisted Drafting major, and Edwards is enrolled in the Interactive Media program.  They were selected from a group of eleven nominations for the quarter honors.

Nominations for Student of the Quarter can be made by any teacher, counselor or administrator.  Students’ attendance, citizenship, leadership and effort are rated.  In addition, the student’s academic and career technical program instructors are asked to rate each nominee’s effort during the nine-week grading period.
